Advanced Numerical Analysis

We employ advanced numerical tools to complement and inform experimental testing, design innovative technological solutions for seismic safety, and provide high-level consultancy. For example, our numerical models of masonry-infilled reinforced concrete frames—with and without strengthening systems such as cold-formed lightweight steel exoskeletons—show excellent agreement with experimental force–displacement curves.

This level of fidelity is essential: once the numerical model accurately reproduces the test behavior, it becomes possible to predict the structural response under varying conditions, including changes in reinforcement density, concrete properties, infill type, and other parameters.
